Notice on Health and Safety
Dear Members and Guests,
Your health and safety are our number one priority here at The Woman’s Club of Fort Worth. As such, and out of an abundance of caution, the Executive Committee has issued the following directives for the operation of our club until further notice:
Environmentally friendly disposable items will be used for all food and beverage service for regular meetings (Our formal place settings and glassware will still be used in the Tea Room and for all catered events).
Club linen service will be discontinued. Members may borrow club linens for official on-campus use by their groups at no cost, but they will be responsible for laundering them.
All table and counter surfaces will be sanitized according to CDC standards before and after meetings.
Restroom surfaces will be sanitized multiple times each day. Members are asked to help in keeping our facilities clean by making sure that all trash ends up in the wastebasket.
Hand sanitizer will be made readily available as long as we are able to keep it in stock. Please do not remove the bottles from their locations as this is a courtesy provided for the health of all guests. Hand sanitizer should not be considered an alternative to proper hand washing.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the uncertainty around public health issues. We would like to also ask your assistance in helping us ensure the health and wellbeing of all our members in the following ways:
If you feel sick, please stay home. We don’t want anyone to miss meetings or events, but this is imperative to prevent the spread of illness.
When coughing or sneezing, please do so into your elbow or a tissue, and wash hands immediately after.
Keep yourself and others healthy by avoiding touching your face, especially eyes and nose.
The single most important thing that everyone can help with is practicing proper hand washing. There are fliers in all of our restrooms to help. A helpful video from the CDC is provided below to help educate the public on the safest handwashing procedure.
